Kastoori Grill

If you find yourself wandering the vibrant streets of Seattle, especially near Pike Place Market, make sure to stop by Kastoori Grill. This unassuming gem of an Indian restaurant, located at 94 Stewart St, serves up a delightful fusion of Indian and Nepali cuisine that’s as rich in flavor as it is in tradition.

Kastoori Grill offers a menu that showcases a variety of tantalizing dishes, but it’s their tandoor specials that truly stand out. Tandoori Chicken, marinated in savory yogurt and baked to perfection, epitomizes the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. For the flavor adventurers, the Lamb Boti Kabob, infused with garlic, ginger, and mustard oil, presents a smoky delight, while the Tandoori Salmon is a fresh take on a classic, combining ginger and spices for a culinary journey that lingers with every bite.

Don't overlook their naan bread offerings, which are baked in a traditional clay oven. The Garlic Naan is an excellent accompaniment, with its delightful aroma and fluffy texture that pairs beautifully with any curry.

But what I truly appreciate about Kastoori Grill goes beyond the food. Step inside, and you are met with warm smiles and attentive service. Customers like A. Thibodeaux have noted the welcoming atmosphere, highlighting the attentive staff that ensures your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. It’s evident that they genuinely care about your satisfaction, making each visit a pleasure.

Kastoori Grill's reputation for authentic and delicious cuisine is reinforced by glowing reviews from patrons. Ritul Jain raves about their momos and Paneer Chilli, while Madhura Parikh praises the nostalgic street food vibe. The offerings are diverse, allowing everyone—from seasoned Indian cuisine lovers to first-timers—to find something that excites their palate.

In addition to Indian delights, the restaurant boasts a solid selection of Nepali dishes, such as Mismas Tarkari and Fried Rice, which promise to bring traditional flavors and spices to the forefront of your dining experience. As Bipin Neupane succinctly puts it: “If you really want to taste authentic Nepali cuisine, this is the place.”

For those who might feel hesitant about the restaurant's laid-back vibe, let me assure you: it’s not about the décor—it's about the mouthwatering food that dazzles your taste buds. Whether you're seated at the restaurant or grabbing a quick bite on the go, every dish delivers a burst of flavor that encapsulates the essence of Indian and Nepali culinary heritage.

In summary, Kastoori Grill is more than just a restaurant; it’s a culinary destination that encapsulates a world of flavors in every dish. If you're searching for authentic Indian and Nepali cuisine that won't break the bank, look no further. This is a place you’ll want to return to time and time again!

Kastoori Grill truly impressed me with their exceptional momos and Paneer Chilli. Despite the slightly smaller serving sizes, the food is incredibly delicious, making every bite a flavorful experience. If you're looking for outstanding cuisine that tantalizes your taste buds, Kastoori Grill is the place to go.

We were surprised to know that food taste was authentic. The spice level is medium and tasty. We tried roti, mix veg curry, momos. Everything tasted pretty good. Better than what we get in bay area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kastoori Grill and I must say, it was one of the best Indian food experiences I've had in many moons! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the aroma of spices and herbs filled the air. The menu offered a wide range of traditional Indian dishes, and I was impressed with the quality and taste of everything I tried. The lamb curry was especially delicious - rich and creamy, with just the right amount of spice (requested hot and it was hot!) The garlic naan bread was also perfectly fluffy and flavorful. But what really stood out to me was the level of hospitality and service from the staff. They were attentive and welcoming, always checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. It was clear that they truly cared about their customers and their dining experience. And perhaps best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Overall, I would highly recommend Kastoori Grill to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Indian food with friendly service and fair pricing. It's a gem of a restaurant and definitely worth a visit!

Unassuming place, but don't be fooled. They serve up some of the most authentic and savory Nepalese cuisine, steaming hot and spicy with a kick. It's a sure stop every time we visit Pike place market. Our personal gotos every time are the Momos and the Chowmein. You are sure to get that nostalgic street food vibe from India!
